May 18, 2010: The 2010 Yearbook staff wants to advertise the Yearbook and the grade-level DVDs during 5th period elective classes during the week of May 24th. Our 5-10 minute presentation will inform your students about the yearbook and the DVDs that are on sale at the student store. Please notify Ms. Magbitang if you'd like us to present to your 5th period.
May 5, 2010: The yearbook staff is not only selling yearbooks this year but we're also selling GRADE LEVEL DVDS!!! We are selling 100-8th Grade DVDs, 50-7th Grade DVDs, and 50-6th Grade DVDs for only $5. For an extra $1, you can get a personalized label. Each DVD will have a slideshow and folders of pictures from the 2009-2010 school year. You can reserve yours today at the Student Store but only until Thursday, May 27th. We will distribute DVDs with yearbooks in the 2nd week of June.

April 19, 2010- All Advisory teachers should receive a notification about Yearbook Presentations for the week of April 26-30.
April 12, 2010- Our 2010 yearbook is finished! It is a wonderful book so hurry and reserve yours today!
March 12, 2010- The 2010 Yearbook staff challenges all Advisories to be represented in the 2010 Yearbook by participating in our surveys for the Trends page. We want to know this year's top fashions and fads. We will publish the results in our 2010 Yearbook.
Each South Gate Middle School student gets one vote. We realize we may not have identified all the various options for each category but we ask each student to try to choose the option that most closely identifies with their personal style and taste.
We are asking each Advisory to complete as many of the surveys below by Wednesday, March 24, 2010. (Each survey must be submitted separately.) Please submit all online responses during the 11 minute Advisory period and hard-copy responses to Ms. Magbitang's mailbox.
The Advisory with the highest class participation will earn a Winchells Donut Party and an Advisory picture in the 2010 Yearbook.

November 19, 2009- The top 3 male and female nominees have been determined and Round 2 of 8th Grade Best begins today. Each 8th grader gets ONE vote. Please survey your 8th grade advisory and each student must vote for one male and one female from each category. Round 2 will end on Wednesday, November 25th and the winners will be announced on Monday, November 30th during Advisory.
November 10, 2009- 8th Grade Best: Round 1 Nominations begin today. Please nominate 1 male 8th grader and 1 female 8th grader for each of the 9 categories. Submit names and Advisory codes/Teachers by Tuesday, November 17, 2009 any time during the advisory period. Round 2 will begin on Thursday, November 19th.
October 18, 2009- Do you have a great picture that would be great to put into the Yearbook? Please share your photos from the 2009-2010 School year on
